Bajiquan is fully named "Wushi Kaimen Bajiquan", which originated from Cangzhou Wushi. Yanwang Zhu Di held the war of "Jingnan" around Cangzhou in the 1st year of Jianwen during the Ming Dynasty in order to obtain the position of Emperor. Mengcun is the birthplace of Kaimen Bajiquan - an excellent traditional quanshu in the North of China. In its three hundred years of development, Bajiquan is famous in Wushu Circle for its characteristics of shock attack, shoulder closing to shoulder, launching strength closely; it is an unusual Chinese art of spirit and culture. In 5th year of Qianlong in Qing Dynasty (1727 A.D.), a youth named Wu Zhong in Mengcun Town who likes Wushu very much once met a southern Wushu master called "Lai". "Lai" regarded Wu Zhong as a honest boy, so he took him as an apprentice and taught him quanshu, and then left years later. In 10th years of Yongzheng (1732 A.D.), another man called "Pi" came to Mengcun to look for Wu Zhong, saying he was ordered by his master to visit, taught Wu Zhong "Liuhe Daqiang" and send him to "Open Sesame of Quanxie"......
